Layering is key when in-between seasons.

Marti from The Traveling Hummingbird shows us how she styles the Nicola Denim Jacket with our favorite top, the Stripe Jennifer Mock Neck.

Meet Marti: “Hi! I am Marti, also known as The Traveling Hummingbird, a teen blogger from Los Angeles California. My love for fashion started in preschool when my mom would sew me #ootd’s for school. Since then, I have joined the industry as an actress. I love being creative and inspiring people of all ages with outfit ideas, or even delicious places to eat in L.A.! I also like to share the culture of Southern California with those who do not live here.”

What Inspired Marti’s Look: “My look is inspired by the city of Pasadena and the downtown area which is full of cool architecture and brick walls. With every corner you turn, there is an adventure waiting to happen. There are so many stories to be told from all the people you meet, foods you smell, and the fun shops all around. When I was taking these photos I made a friend while he photo bombed my picture and was telling me, “YASSS work that camera!” Pasadena is a great town with even better energy.”

What Inspires Marti’s Everyday Looks: “I find my style inspiration from people I see walking down the street, celebrities I admire and photographers I work with who give me a different perspectives. Sometimes I am feeling a long, flowy dress, while other times I want to wear jeans and a cute top. Other times, I wear sweats and stay home and watch TV. I also see outfits on social media that I love. I like to go into my closet and pick out outfits and think W.W.B.W. (What Would Beyoncé Wear)?”
